9 US Troops Die In Crash; Deadliest Year Of War In Afghanistan Is 2010

Kabul: 9 Americans died in a deadly crash of the helicopter. These soldiers were from the NATO led force operating in the south of Afghanistan. This has made 2010 the deadliest year of war as far as the foreign troops are concerned. There has been a terrible violence in Afghanistan since 2001 since the ouster of Taliban. This crash is one of the bloodiest in the recent times since launch of many attacks for the disruption of the parliamentary elections in the nation.
Mohammad Jan Rasulyar, a spokesman for the governor of southeastern Zabul province said –
The aircraft came down there. U.S. troops form the largest contingent in the area.
