The most unexpected but a sure thing in this world is death. It just can come at any time and in any form. Neither anybody can ignore it nor can anybody run from it. Here are some great actors who died prematurely during filming.  But their efforts are unforgettable for their fans.

James Dean

James Dean, American actor and a cultural icon, died early at his 24 but is an unforgettable star of Hollywood. His most iconic role was in “Rebel Without a Cause” which was released a month after he was died in a car crash.  When he left this mortal world, he had just finished his filming for “Giant” but he hadn’t completed the recording of dialogues for the film. A voiceover artist completed his dialogue and a year later of his death the film released.

Oliver Reed

Oliver Reed, an English actor known for his burly screen presence died from a heart attack after drinking £538 alcohol while filming “Gladiator” in Malta. However, the film was almost complete so the director of the film digitally inserted him into the remaining scenes of “Gladiator”. It is his drinking habit that killed this extremely talented Hollywood star.

Richard Harris

An Irish actor who was known best for his role in the first 2 movies of Harry Potter as a professor Albus Dumbledore died in 2002 from Hodgkin’s disease. “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” was his last movie that he could not complete. His fellow Irishman Michael Gambon took on the role of Dumbledore to complete the rest of his role.
