Al Qaida Group will Take Over a Major City of Yemen

Yemen: The opposition leadership of Yemen has blamed president Ali Selah for the loss of control in the city of zinjibar. There are allegations that it is a complete set up; but some say al Qaida located in the Arab peninsula has completely managed to exploit several months of intense protests.
The ailing government of Yemen has claimed on Sunday that the capital of the province of abyan in the southern part of Yemen had been completely overrun by the affiliate of al Qaida. On the other hand, the dissident generals and the political opposition put blame on the president for losing the control over city.
There are allegations about the abyan capital zinjibar and fears are being raised that the radical group in Arab peninsula has been taking advantage in the last four months. This is because of the protests against the president Ali selah in order to gain ground.
As per the spokesperson of the ruling general people congress party, the gunmen seized the buildings of the government of zinjibar because of the shootout of the troops of Yemen.
The commanders of the military council of opposition of Yemen have broken up with selah after the demonstration wave in ending January. There was an allegation to the president for handing certain governorates to the mischievous elements.
The former defense minister Abdullah Ali called former units to join the struggler for the exit of the president. He said, “We call on you not to follow orders to confront other army units or the people.”
The troops which are loyal to the president have withdrawn from the country swaths. This has happened in the recent months and the main focus is Sana. In the last week, the prestigious republican guard being presided by the presidents son Ahmed, had a battle with the tribal leaders of the city and a base was surrendered outside city on Friday before there was a call on for the air strikes.
There was a truce and this stopped the fighting in Sana. It is not possible to know whether the armed men in zinjibar were in the fold of al Qaida. In the south city, there are rival militant groups and these include clans of Sana and Aden abyan Islamic army. There was civil war between north and south parts in the country.
