Bank Holiday Bonanza For Britain People

It’s time to celebrate an extra-long weekend to the Britain people as the Britain government is hoping to recreate the “feelgood factor” of Royal wedding celebration by giving a four-day break to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

In the year 2002, thousands of Britons joined to celebrate for the Queen’s golden jubilee and the street were crowded and everyone wanted to handshake and hand her flowers. This year Downing Street’s plans to celebrate with full of enthusiast which allows Britons to jet off on a four-day break without having to take any holiday leave.

Next year’s Whitsun Bank Holiday which is usually in late May, will be postponed until Monday, June 4 so there will be an added holiday on Tuesday, June 5.

It is hoping that this year millions of people will join to celebrate the Golden Jubilee. But many, especially businessmen are criticizing the vacation. They believe it will greatly affect on their business as the economic downturn is going on. Some of the tycoons consider the celebration motivational for staffs but firm will badly affected with this. They said, we will have to pay for this.

“The Big Jubilee Lunch” is expected to be launched by the Palace and environmental and educational charity the Eden Project.

According a Whitehall, “we hope everyone will join in by holding street parties to make the event special.”

The Queen of England is now going to be 86 and it is the second monarch of British to celebrate a Jubilee. The first was Queen Victoria in 1897.
