Big Crowds Will Gather For Beatification of Pope John Paul 2
Vatican City : The funeral of the former supreme pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church saw a gathering of around 3o million people. There are estimates the crowd of the same level will reach the eternal city for the beatification process.
There will be gathering of the big crowds for the man who was witnessed by more people than any other person in the world. The goal of John Paul was to reach out to the world and it is quite apparent the globe would witness the ceremony of beatification of this great soul.
The ceremony will take place at the st Peters square and will be presided by the pope benedict 16. This is for the first time in the history of the church the former pope is beatified by the successor.
After the gospel, john Paul will be declared blessed and the tapestry will be unfurled from central loggia located in the basilica of st peter.
