Blekko Blocked 20 Content Farm Websites Including eHow, Fixya and Experts-Exchange

Recently, Google launched a change in its document-level algorithm to detect copied or spammy content on the Websites. Its main aim is to take action against Web spam in search results. The search giant announced to degrade the sites having copied or spammy content.
Blekko search engine was launched in the starting of November 2010. This has a vision to fight against spam and provide better search results than Google. Its search results come from more than 3 billion Websites.
In addition, this social search engine allows its members to keep a spam clock and list the spam Websites in it. The spam clock displays one million spam Web pages are created every hour. It continues clocks to display the increasing number of detect spam pages. Last seen, the clock was on 748,119,598.
Blekko banned following content farm Websites from its search results entirely.

An unknown person filed a complaint against Demand Media, U.S. owned eHow.com on ComplaintsBoard on 2010-01-03. Still it is a mystery whether this complaint displayed an adverse effect or not.
Now, we are waiting for the Google’s term to take a firm action against Web spam.
