Bobby Jindal the governor of Louisiana has been chosen as the most popular serving governor of the United States. The result was revealed after an opinion poll. The opinion poll was conducted on the basis of approval and disapproval rating. He got 58% of approval rating and 34% of disapproving rate. The survey was conducted by public policy polling.
He is among the top most leader of Republican leader of the country. Jindal is planning to go for reelection next year. He faced tough competition with Jodi Rell, Governor General of Connecticut who got an approval rating of 55%. They were the two most popular governors general of the country whereas Arnold Schwarzenegger turned to be the least popular governor in the country. He got the least approval rating of 25%
Overwhelmed by the massive support he thanked people. While talking about the challenges of 2011 he said that massive oil spill near the coast of our state is going to be the most challenging task of 2011.
“As I reflect on the oil spill I keep getting the question, ‘Is Louisiana going to be OK? You’ve been through four hurricanes and an oil spill in the past few years. What’s wrong with you people down there? Are you waiting for locusts?’” Jindal said.
Let us look at his successful history, he in the year 2007 become the first non white governor of Louisiana. He was the first Indian origin American to get this high credit post.
Since 2007 he and his work is appreciated lot and he is becoming the budding star of Republican Party. He has been continuously ranking as the popular governor of the states.
