Thiruvananthapuram, India : After haul of 1 lac crore treasure the previous week, entire India and world is waiting holding breath about the disclosure of the last secret chamber of lord Padmanabaswamy temple, chamber B and come to know about treasures in it. The Supreme Court panel entrusted with work to prepare inventory of treasures will have a meet on Friday to decide whether all treasures are to be opened.

The temple of 16th century[ origin stated to be about 9th century] in heart of capital of Indian state Kerala has six chambers underground namely A,B,C,D,E,F. As per the tradition, first two secret chambers were not opened since past 136 years. C and D are opened two times in a year and E, F are opened on a daily basis.

After opening of five chambers, panel discovered vast collection of precious jewels, gold, silver valued 1 lac crore INR. In chamber A alone, treasure discovered is around 50,000 crore indian rupees. As per the experts, the chamber B can have wealth more than all 5 other chambers put together. The officials of temple have advised panel not to open the chamber. They have warned of ancient legends of bad signs for the state as well as people who are involved in doing the exercise.

On the main door of chamber is cobra motif and as per experts, it is a warning that chamber should not be opened. Early 20th century legend says some officials tried to break chamber during famine but dropped idea when they heard sounds of roaring waters.

With the passing of events, it was believed subterranean vaults lead to Arabian Sea located 5 km from the temple. One local woman of age 62 said, “Officials should not hinder age-old temple customs. We must not anger the presiding deity.”
