In Chengdu, New Energy International Forum And Fair Will Take A Final Kick Off On September 28

BEIJING - In Chengdu, capital of southwestern Sichuan province the China NEIF (New Energy International Forum and fair) will take a final kick off in September 28. Officials said, it is fast becoming one of the most influential international events in new energy industry.

The organizing committee has invited several high-ranking government officials, to enhance NEIF’s appeal. At the forum’s opening ceremonies the vice director of the National Development and Reform Committee is slated to give a keynote speech. Apart from the Global Wind Energy Council and renewable energy association from Japan, the United States and Europe, more than 30 famous foreign alternative energy institutions have confirmed their attendance.

During the forum a series of seminars will be held, touching upon nuclear energy development and photovoltaic technology. It is expected that delegates from Spain, Germany, United States and ten ASEAN countries will also take part. Sources has reported that 71 enterprises have already booked 7,500 square meters of exhibition space, and around 400 leading domestic companies will also be in attendance. Experts from the industrial arena from both home and abroad including Murray Cameron, vice president of the European Photovoltaic Industry Association and Zhang Huazhu, chairman of the International Association for Clean Energy.

Chengdu’s Shuangliu country is expected to develop strategic partnership with a number of leading new energy research associations, during the forum. The region has plans to sign five 26.5 billion yuan framework agreements, three letter of investment intent and nine formal investment contracts.

This year’s forum is hosted by Chinese Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization, Chinese New Energy Chamber of Commerce, Chinese Renewable Energy Association and Chengdu city government.
