China Will Overtake US On The Science Front In The Next 2 Years
UK: As per the reports, china will overtake the US as far as the scientific output is concerned. This is a conclusion from the national science academy of UK.

There has been a surprise increment in terms of publishing of the research papers. In the year 1996, the US published 292,513 papers. In the year 2008, china increased to more than seven fold.
The spending of china on the engineering and science research and development since 1999 is reaching 100 billion dollar a year. In the year 2006 alone, 1.5 million science and engineering students graduated from Chinese universities.
As per a sociologist originally from shanghai, dr Cao, “It will still take many years to match the western standards”.
