Clinton Honored As PETA’s 2010 Person Of The Year
Former US president, Bill Clinton has been honored as Person of the Year by PETA’S 2010.
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has given this honor to Clinton because of his veganism.
Talking to CNN, Clinton said that he had loosed 24 pounds in September only because of her new diet plan. Another reason of loosening weight is his
daughter’s marriage. Her daughter asked him to lose some kilos.
However, Clinton has adopted the new diet plan after getting relief from his chest pain. He was hospitalized for this very reason. Also, in the year
2004, he had a quadruple bypass surgery.
Talking to media, Clinton says he is now a pure veggie person. In his diet, he eats beans, fruits and a protein supplement every day. He has leaved
dairy products, meat, chicken and turkey but eat very little fish in a week.
PETA is agreed with his saying, “By choosing a plant-based diet, President Clinton has spared the lives of nearly 200 animals a year and reduced his
risk of cancer, strokes, and other diseases.”
