Good news for laptop owners and gizmo freaks, your laptops will soon have an insane 30 plus hours of battery life.

Lenovo recently unveiled its latest ThinkPad range and promised that ThinkPad T420 will create history and a new benchmark for batteries with more than 30 hours of battery life. The ThinkPad range starts at $779 and is expcted by mid-March.

The benchmark was soon broken by HP which one upped Lenovo with its latest EliteBook 8460P with a battery life of 32 Hours. The range starts at $999 and will be available to the masses by middle of March.

With Battery life’s increasing day by day the lack of productivity will now need new excuses as the brunt no more will be on dead laptop batteries.

The extended battery ranges from HP and Lenovo will definitely see more competition in further months and the change is for good for the corporate fed up with locating charging points for their laptops.
