Honduras President Porfirio Lobo has smoothen the situation of convicts deaths and injuries during a fire wildly broke out the in the jail in Comayagua killing more than 350 inmates.

Though the reason behind this “hellish” accident is still shrouded in mystery, the relatives and friends of the convicts are in panic. They rush through the crowd to reach out their friends and loved ones.

It created a rioting scene for the police to control the entire situation. They warned by firing a round of shots and also threw tearing gases to disperse the crowd in front of the jail.

Due to this unexpected tragedy, victims were suffocated and they succumb to death. Human Right Watch says that the negligence on the system of the Jail management made the situation worse.

An ‘independent” and “transparent” investigation has been assured by the President himself, but the question that is arising in the mind of the people is the jail and the convict within are safe?

Many of the convicts were trapped and even some of the observers were present in the jail but they didn’t have the required keys. Guards who had the keys were not visible into the scene. Helpless folk were suffocated to death soon by the hat and gas that was produced by the burning the things together.

Convicts say that they will die in the jail. Panic is making nest in the mind of the inmates. This is a tragedy that history will never forget. Now the biggest question lingering in the mind of the friends and relatives of the convicts is will one be able to stay in the jail safely?
