Dave Grohl frontman of Foo Fighters feels he really missed the company of his band mates in the recent period.

The American musician has made a return to the band to make a new album. He was recently involved in a short period with Them Crooked Vultures.

The 41 year old musician believes he enjoyed his period with other projects although he missed his association with Foo Fighters.

He remarked, “The last two and a half years has been really fun but I miss it, I miss being in the Foo Fighters.”

The band has completed about half the work related to the new album which they recorded in Grohl’s garage. The producer of the album is Butch Vig.

Grohl said, “”But I promise you the record will be done. We’re seven songs in with five or six more we’re gonna do. The last month and a half we’ve been recording in my garage, totally old school analogue.”

Foo Fighters will play on a record that has not been given a title till now at two grand UK shows scheduled to be held next summer.
