Barcelona forward David Villa is not happy with Atletico Madrid player Tomas Ujfalusi for his foul on ace Lionel Messi. Ujfalusi was given a red card because of this challenge.

Messi got his ankle hurt in this incident and had to leave the ground in great pain. The Czech player has given his apologies to Messi for this tackle. He claims that it was not intentional and did not mean to injure him.

Messi’s fellow Barcelona player Villa considers the foul as brutal and wants punishment for Ujfalusi that he deserves.

Villa said, “There is a committee that decides, and when they see the pictures he is sure to receive the punishment he deserves, because the challenge is brutal and he should not be proud of what he has done.”

Villa believes that the punishment should act as an example to others so that they do not repeat similar things.

He added, “The punishment must set a precedent that will make a player think twice before doing something similar.”
