Baijiu has grabbed around 30 percent drinks market in China.
“I am delighted that Diageo’s application to increase its investment in Quanxing has been approved by the Chinese authorities,” said Paul Walsh, Chief Executive of Diageo.
As Baijiu is much popular in China, Diageo said that it will make it an international success. They are selling this brand at 14 regional airports.
Now, the sale of this brand has also been started on Chicago and Dallas airports.
“We have managed to quadruple the sales of Shuijingfang in the regional duty frees in Asia in the last two years,” he said.
