New York (SHM News) – Bell ringer of Salvation Army is one of the most popular ornaments in the marketing in this holiday season.From past few months, these rings have been attracting number of folks.

Haven Sink, the director of public relations from Salvation Army at Wake County in North Carolina said “Wedding rings seem to be the token item this year for donations,” As per the organization, 7 instances for ring donation have been reported last month which was the main reason of the campaign of Salvation Army.

Jennifer Byrd, the director of national public relation for Salvation Army said “It’s very curious,” and added to it “Maybe some of these rings came from marriages that didn’t work out and they just wanted to do something positive with them?”

It has affected other regions of the country too. Bands for wedding have come up in North Carolina, Kansas, Washington, Raleigh, Spokane and Shawnee, where the cost of the ring is around $5,000.
