outdoor exercise

Outdoor exercise is a perk of warmer days. It is the ultimate motivation to get outside and start doing exercise to get perfect body. But when the temperature is high, you can get risks of dehydration, chafing and sunburn. Here are things to notice before starting your summer outdoor exercise.

Avoid Drinking Hot Coffee before you step out to take a long walk and run. The caffeine in coffee acts as a diuretic and can increase a risk of dehydration. According to a study published in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, ice-cold drinks are very helpful and gives energy to body to run long distances without getting dehydrated.

Wearing loose clothes like half lose paints and half t-shirts give free moves during summer. Well, it’s true that no one wants to feel like their legs are stuck in spandex sausage casing. The tight t-shirt and paint can increase the risk of chafing. But while picking out a pair, please keep in mind the pair is neither too tight nor too loose as both will create rubbing and friction.

Don’t eat after a workout. Normally, people avoid eating fry food items during hot weather. But a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has found that people who work out in hot temperature (97 degree F) eat 300 fewer calories than people who work out in 77 degree F.
