The new much faster Flash drive launched in India by Kingston. The new flash drive has USB 3.0 which offer better data transfer speed. The new flash drive called Data Traveler Ultimate.

The new USB 3.0 device helps to transfer data 10 times faster than USB 2.0. The Data Traveler Ultimate 3.0 offers read speed of 80 MB per second and 60 MB per second write speed. The device is available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of capacities. The drive has also a feature of Y cable that provide backward compatibility of the device with USB 2.0 ports, because the USB 2.0 ports require the Y cable to sports USB 3.0 devices.

The DT Ultimate flash drive is able to transfer 1 hour 44 minute movie of 3.9 GB of data in over one minute, the company said.

The Flash Drive is available with 5 years warranty and free tech support, but the price of the device is yet not announced
