Egypt President Defends Security Role

President Hosni Mubarak has defended the Egypt security forces which have surprised the country. Mr. Mubarak has terminated his government and said a new cabinet will be formed on Saturday.
Since the protest began it was his first statement and in the protest at least 26 have died with 100 injured.
Most of the people took part in protest in Cairo, Suez, Alexandria and other cities. The protesters became aggressive and set fire to the head quarters of the NDP governing party and surrounding of the state TV and the foreign ministry.
According to medical sources more than 13 peoples were killed in Suez on Friday and in Cairo five people died. Since the protest began on Tuesday the death toll has increased to 26.
Mr. Mubarak said he had asked the government to present its resignation today and he will appoint a new government on Saturday. He also added that he understands the protesters anger but always think about the thin line that divides freedom from chaos and he will not allow Egypt to destabilize.
