European Travel companies are now canceling tours package to Tunisia after the news of widespread protest against the North African nation’s longtime presidentship. The chaos has brought big trouble to some cities of Tunisia.

Tour companies in Germany and Britain has started special airlines for European tourists who are keen to back home from Tunisia. However, the place is the major attraction of European people in the winter season.

According to media, more than 1000 tourists have come back and more than hundred are waiting to safely come back their home.

According to a tourist “It was quite scary to visit Tunisia at this time as the situation was not so good. What we have seen is the aftermath, burned-out petrol stations and the army lining the streets with their guns.”

Britain’s Foreign Office said another 150 to 200 Britons are known to be traveling independently in Tunisia and have registered with the embassy there.
