All Eyes Glued To Toshiba’s X10

Toshiba is finally coming up with its skinny competent named Excite X10. The new tablet will measure only about 7.7mm which is 0.6mm thinner than the Prime. At just 1.2 pounds it also has the tag of the lightest tablet till date.

It will provide you with room for some of the micro connections like Micro USB2.0, microSD card slot, and Micro-HDMI. You can also enjoy the build in speakers, a2MP front facing camera and a 5MP back facing camera (LED backlight supported).

Also it supports a backside of magnesium alloy and the screen is 10.1 inches long and is covered with Gorilla glass. Bluetooth support and the Wi-fi are also there.

It is to be noted that this time Toshiba has gone in a complete opposite direction as far as the designs are concerned. In fact X10 has none retained none of the advantages that were there in Thrive.

Though it is believed that the great level of portability it has the better industrial design (which is also considered sexier) are sure to make up for it.

Priced at $530 and $600 for 16GB and 32GB version respectively it is said that X10 will be made available in “the mid of first quarter”. In fact it is said that the price could be a major deterrent in the sales of X10.

This is so because for the same amount the users already have access to Prime (which is a quad core) which is no doubt a great tablet despite the recent problems.

But the main thing is that no matter how many discussions are carried on the price versus quality stuff the reality will be out the moment it will be launched in the market. But till then all eyes are on X10 and rightly so!
