As the study by RSSDI has become quite successful, it plans to do a nationwide study on this burning problem.

For research, around 400 people were selected. They were further divided into three groups. One group was given medication and the other two were treated with yoga and methi powder. Yoga coupled with daily quantity of 10 to 15g methi per day resulted in positive result.

In nationwide study by RSSDI, around 1500 people will be put on trial for around three years.

According to WHO projection, diabetes death will increase twice by 2030. So, if some good studies are done with positive outcome, atleast we can hope some improvement in this global problem.
