Five New Variants Of Porsche’s ‘Cayenne’ Launched In India
[private]Porsche launched its second generation Cayenne in five different variants, Porsche is German Luxury car Maker Company, Porsche’s announced second generation Cayenne five different variants – Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne S Hybrid.
These cars are comes in price between Rs 65.82-lakh to Rs 1.27 crore in India (ex-showroom).
Separate prices of each model are Cayenne (Rs 65,82,000), Cayenne S (Rs 78,62,000), Cayenne Turbo (Rs 1,27,10,000), Cayenne Diesel (Rs 59,22,000) and Cayenne S Hybrid (Rs 75,46,000).
Ashish Chordia, Porsche India’s Director, said that, “We have already received bookings of at least 70 units. This model represents the perfect balance between elegant design and powerful driving dynamics.
Efficiency has significantly improved making this model an outstanding trendsetter in its segment”. “We will open five more showrooms in Chandigarh, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Ahmadabad by this calendar year, other than the two we already have” He added.
Currently company has only two showrooms but it’s planning to open five new showrooms by December 2020.
The new Cayenne S Hybrid’s ensures fuel consumption of just 8.2 L/100 Km, because of its highly sophisticated parallel full hybrid engine. Another one Cayenne Diesel variant reduce 20% fuel consumption with it’s 240 bhp three litre V6 engine which ensure 9.3 to 7.4 L/100 Km fuel efficiency.
Also in Cayenne S, fuel efficiency up significantly on the high torque with 4.8 litre V8 power unit. Where Cayenne Purbo consume only 11.5 L/100 Km with its 500 bhp 4.8 litre V8 biturbo engine, and reduce fuel consumption by 23 %.
Deesch Papke, Porsche’s Managing Director (Middle East), said that “Yet in today’s world, it is clearly not enough to pour on more power, there must be a clear, simultaneous improvement in fuel consumption. We have optimized this objective to a maximum by reducing CO2 emission of up to 26 per cent and reduction in fuel consumption of up to 23 per cent less”.
