Why Forgiveness Is Important?

For the survival of the human race the call for forgiveness and reconciliation is important. Forgiveness is the power to break the chain of bitterness and selfishness. The ability to forgive others shows our moral likeliness to the person who commanded us to forgive them.
For Christians the 2000 year old plea remains the subject of medication as they observe Lent each year. Jesus set an example of essential philosophy built into faith that is for forgiveness.
Good Friday is the day of crucifixion which reminds and reflects forgiveness. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was not known to any one but as per a preach Messiah would arrive to clean the sins of the human race and will save them from the power of darkness and will bring them in the kingdom of light. And if the Roman soldiers would have known that they are crucifying the Lord of Glory they would have never done it.
Jesus provided a new way to all that the people who will believe in his sacrifice on the cross will receive forgiveness and salvation. Thus by the work of Jesus Christ the seekers determined the love of God and his forgiveness.
This moving of darkness to light, slavery to freedom and from condemnation to forgiveness has all come after the atoning death of Jesus.
By forgiving people we not only make a right environment but also promote mental, physical and spiritual well being.
Miracles begin when two alienated people start their life together again, when people asking for divorce suddenly change their mind and wish to live together, when two enemies become good friends these transformation in relationship takes place by melting away the bitterness and animosity.
The time when Jesus asked his followers to love their enemies and forgive their offenders he was not only showing way to protect their souls but also trying to protect their bodies from illnesses caused due to anger and frustration.
