Mean Girls 2 Fails To Impress Audience
Mean Girls 2, the sequel of 2004 classic comedy was aired on January 23, 2011 ABC family Channel. This was aired right after the original movie “Mean Girls” that starred Lindsay Lohan. In the second sequel, Meaghan Martin portrays the character Jo, who is bit tomboy and keeps on switching schools. So this year, Jo is the new girl of the school and her last year before college. The movie starts from where the first left off.
Jennifer Stone plays the character of Abby, the favorite target of ‘Plastics’. To help Abby, Jo steps into the shoe of mean girls’ drama and goes from being a bully herself and getting bullied. This gang is lead by evil Mandi (Maiara Walsh).
Tim Meadows was back in his usual role as Principal Duvall in the flick.
The audience is also introduced to a bunch of stereotypes at school so now Jo has to decide which group she fits into.
Back home, Jo comes to know that her father has lost all her college funds and she might not be able to attend Carnegie Mellon University her “Dream School”. Will she able to come out of this disappointment?
The original “Mean Girls” is funny yet sophisticated. No prize for guessing this, because the script had been drafted by Tina Fey.
The DVD release has been scheduled for February 11, 2011.
