A Glass of Red Wine can Treat Type 2 Diabetes
According to the study of the Royal of Chemistry Journal Food and Function, a glass of red wine is as effective as Rosiglitazone, medication for patients who are suffering from Type 2 diabetes.
Researchers say that if you take every day a small glass of red wine, you can keep yourself free from diabetes problems.
In red wine, a compound called Potent is found that works as a daily dose medication for the patients with Type 2 diabetes.
As per the scientists report, antioxidants in red wine is also as effective as a daily dose of combative drug. The active compounds, polyphenols in the wine operate in a similar way to the drug Rosiglitazone.
Scientists had carried out this research after the ban of Rosiglitazone came into effect.
They say that 100 ml of red wine is equivalent to 1.8-18mg of this effective medication.
Experts of Applied Life Sciences and Vienna’s University of Natural Resources found that a 125ml glass of red wine each day was enough to provide relief of patients with Type 2 diabetes.
