Google Changes Algorithm To Detect Copied Content For Reducing Spam
Google has improved itself a lot since its inception. The improvement clearly shows the difference in today’s search as people are having better and quicker search results.
Matt Cutts, Google’s Principal Engineer, stated in an office blog on January 21, 2011 that the company had redesigned and launched its document-level classifier to individually detect the repeated spammywords on each indexed Web page. This will help to identify the self-promoting, automated, and junky comments. In addition, it increases the ability to detect hacked sites.
Matt also told that the company had increased the freshness and its data in past few months. The search giant is continuously working to evaluate multiple modifications to lower the spam including its effort to identify Websites having copied content and original content irrespective of their levels.
The pure Web-spam decreased over time and the focus shifted to content-farm sites having rich but low-quality content. Google Inc. launched two big algorithms to detect low-quality sites in 2010. However, this does not seem sufficient to the crowd and people rose their voice asking the search engine companies to take strong actions against Websites having low-quality, promotional or spammy content.
Matt cleared the Google’s part in fighting against spam results and informed, “Google is free to take action against sites violating their quality guidelines irrespective of their ranking and advertisements”. He also informed that Google Ads does not help in getting good ranking.
On January 28, 2011 Matt stated on his personal blog that Google has launched the new modification in algorithm to detect copied content. This well help to bring more than 2% change in search results. The searchers would like to view the Websites on top having original content, whereas sites having scrapped or copied content will be leveled below.
Normal readers appreciated this initiative to provide quality-oriented content on the World Wide Web. On the contrary, search engine marketing firms and professionals are also expressing their views and somewhere they need Google to do something for their profession as well.
Google currently welcomes the feedback about its new change from every end-user around the globe.

Is it Google’s new stunt to gain popularity? Hey Google Man *on video*, you are already popular, What you need more? I don’t know what it is content farming sites and spammy content or stuffing keyword. Only know to search on google and get what I want. Hey wait a moment, I understand now. You’re writing that I will get 2% better results when I search on Google, then you are great. I like y ou.
I agree that Google has remarkably changed itself. Whatever we are getting now in the Google search results, it is much better than that comes out 2 years before. We must Support Google to have better results. I exactly do not know about document-level algorithm but believe that it will yield something better.
I really appreciate that Google is working to bring out the better results than ever. But at least it should think about copywriters and content writers working 4 sites so called content farms. the copywriting is the only one way to survive for us in which way we’ll generate bread and butter if google block all the content-rich websites if it detected keyword stuffing in them. I need google to do something for copywriters so that we can survive in this ruin world.
Oh, the irony of this post.
