Google And Associated Press Sign New License Contract

New License ContractNEW YORK: On Monday, new license agreements signed by Google and AP, but still terms were not unveiled. The Associated Press and Google Inc, after months of spiky discussions concerning the news cooperative’s content both sides have initiated a new licensing contract.

Both companies were not unveiled the terms on new deal which sighted new ways of allocating and working together AP’s content on Google.

AP senior vice president and chief revenue officer, Jane Seagrave said that, “The new relationship allows us to work together to improve the experience for consumers.”

On Google’s website the company disclosed the new deal on a blog post.

In 2006 AP and Google had a content licensing agreement that ended at the starting of this year and past numerous months both companies were in discussion to jumble out new terms although a bridge deal permitted Google to utilize AP news articles and other content.
