Google On Monday Announced New Mobile Editing Capabilities

BEIJING:- For Google Docs on the Android platform and the iPad, Google on Monday announced new mobile editing capabilities. David Girouard, president of Google’s enterprise group, was quoted as saying in a post to a company blog, “In the next few weeks, co-workers around the world will soon be able to co-edit files simultaneously from an even wider array of devices”.
The Apps of Google includes, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Gmail. Presently, Google Docs users can only view the file, but they cannot edit it with their iPad. Google did not set a specific date for delivering spreadsheet editing to the iPad and Google Docs word processor.
Also on Monday, a move that would let companies do without SharePoint, one of Microsoft top money makers, Google demonstrated progress in adding collaborative editing of Office document for Docs users on Windows desktops and laptops.
