Vera McGrath who killed her husband along with her son in law in 1987 has been convicted for the gruesome act. Her cruelness reached such heights that she had a party to celebrate it. She burned and buried the body but later on dug it and walked around with his skull on a pitchfork.
The victim and his son in law were not in good relations. Vera supported her son in law in the brutal fight.
The Irish police reopened this case recently on the insistence of her daughter. On Monday Central Criminal Court found her guilty and sentenced her life imprisonment. Pinder, 47, was also convicted and his sentence will take place in November.
Leon, Pinder’s son, said how his grandmother boasted about the gruesome act. She danced around the fire and skull was smashed to pieces.
Leon also said that his grandmother boasted to him that the victim begged mercy for his life when he was brutally murdered by both of them.[/private]
