As per the stunning citi reports –

India will surely overtake the robust economies like china and US  to become the largest economy by the year 2050.

As far as republic of china is concerned, it will overtake US by 2020 as the largest economy of the world. it will further be taken over by india by the year 2050.

The estimates have been done keeping the factors like PPP [purchasing power parity]  and the  rate of growth of economy.

The citi financial reports further said –

On the PPP basis, the graph of the economy of India will increase from USD 3.92 trillion in the year 2010 to USD 85.97 trillion in the year 2050.
