Investors Agrees To Divide Foster’s Into Beer And Wine Unit

U.S: Investors of Australian drink maker Foster’s agrees to divide the company by turning its wine division to a separate business. In voting more than 99% of the votes were in favor of this demerger and it is expected to be effective on 9 May.

Foster’s decided to retain its beer division, which owns United Breweries Brands and the Carlyon. In Australia, U.S. and Europe the new firm, Treasury Wine Estate, will have assets and vineyards.
