Baghdad: In the separate insurgent attacks, ten people are killed and 29 have been wounded. The incidents have taken place on Friday. Among the dead include eight personnel of the police. These causalities took place in the south east parts of Baghdad. The roadside bombs exploded and became the cause of destruction and death. In the attacks, two cars of civilians and police were damaged.

In another incident, the gun men stormed into the house of sheikh Bashir salah, an imam of the Sunni mosque. They killed him alongwith his wife and daughter who was eight years old.

Yet in another incident, the lieutenant colonel of the Iraq army was assassinated by the silencer weapons near his home in Bagdad.  There is a struggle among the security forces to restore normalcy in cities of Iraq.
