Mark Regev, spokesperson of Benjamin Netanyahu the prime minster of Israel said that they want to start a direct peace talk with Palestinians from Wednesday in a visit of envoys which is known as Qurtet by United Nations, United States, European Union and Russia.

This type of peace talks had stopped one year back due to the dispute on Jewish building captured by Israel in 1967.

Palestinians refused to speak with Israel till the time they do not agree for a settlement on the land of West Bank. But Palestinians rejected it and said talk should not have any pre-demands.

Regev stated that the upcoming visit of Quartet can help to increase the direct meeting between Palestinians and Israelis. However, they came to know that the senior official of Palestinian “has refused”.

Regev said “We are disappointed,” and called it as a “frustrating that the Palestinian side repeatedly refuses to engage in peace talks directly with Israel”.
