James Cameron Has Plans For Two Sequels Of Avatar
James Cameron has plans to create two sequels of Avatar. He will begin to write the scripts of them in early next year.
The director is hoping that the sequel will hit the cinema halls in later part of 2014. He also feels that the third movie in this series will be ready by December 2015.
Avatar was a great success at box office and grossed worldwide $2.8 billion after it released last year. This caused many other 3D films to be created.
The storyline of the movies involves a fight between human beings and blue skinned aliens of 10ft on a distant located moon named Pandora.
Cameron remarked, “It is a rare and remarkable opportunity when a filmmaker gets to build a fantasy world and watch it grow.”
He added, “In the second and third films, which will be self-contained stories that also fulfil a greater story arc, we will not back off the throttle of Avatar’s visual and emotional horsepower.”
