The Spanish actor Javier Bardem tells to media why the 83rd Academy Award is so special for him. The award ceremony is going to be held in 27th Feb, 2011.

The leading Spanish actor has been nominated in the best actor category for his heart-rending acting in “Biutiful”. The flick is based on an agonizing journey of a man who seeks redemption.

The film has got great response from viewers. The actor will be seen competing with great actors- James Franco, Jeff Bridges and Colin Firth.

However, the nomination is so special for Javier. He revealed his happiness by saying it’s the first time that an actor has been nominated in the best actor category for a completely Spanish-language role!
