JFK Officials Found Abandoned Suitcase Carrying 5 Pounds Cocaine
Customs agent at NYC’s JFK Airport found nearly 5 pounds of cocaine in an abandon luggage last week.
The air officials confirmed the report to NBC by saying that the cocaine was in four pairs of sneakers which kept wisely in an abandoned suitcase that came to NYC from the Dominican Republic.
According to officials, the market value of the drug they caught is quite high. It is near about $107,00.
Officials believed that the owner of the bag was afraid while the bag seized by air authorities and he decided to leave the bag.
There were several cases of drug traffic caught in NYC this year. A Boston woman was charged with swallowing 50 pellets of cocaine in February on JetBlue flight from the Dominican Republic. Another case in March, a woman caught wearing diaper full of cocaine on JetBlue flight from the Dominican Republic.
