Joe Johnson Guides Hawks To Win The Series Against Magic

Joe Johnson played superbly scoring 25 points as well as 10 rebounds to help his team the Atlanta Hawks beat the Orlando Magic with a score of 84-81 on Thursday at the Philips Arena. Hawks win this series 4-2.
Jamal Crawford also had a perfect game scoring 19 points. This win is a sweet revenge for Atlanta that suffered a four games sweep versus Orlando last year in the semifinal of Eastern Conference.
Dwight Howard scored a game-high double-double 25 points as well as 15 rebounds. Hedo Turkoglu scored 15 points for the losing side. These performances were not enough for forcing the seventh game of series.
Larry Drew, Coach of Hawks, remarked, “Joe was really aggressive and I was going to ride him the whole night. He was going to will us to this win.”
The Hawks advance to the semifinals of Eastern Conference for third time in a row. They play against top-seeded Bulls starting Monday at United Center.
