Jose Pinto Delighted With Victory Against Ceuta
Jose Manuel Pinto, goalkeeper of Barcelona, is delighted as his team begun the Copa del Rey campaign with a victory on Tuesday.
The Catalan giants beat Ceuta with a score of 2-0 in the first leg match. Pinto is satisfied as he played a part in win. He is hoping that Barcelona complete the task when they next face each other on 10 November at Nou Camp.
Pinto said, “We played a serious game. We came with the mentality to achieve something in the Copa and we have done things well.”
Pinto also commented on the controversial incident when he created hindrance in the Champions League game versus Copenhagen when he tried to imitate the whistle of referee to catch striker Ceser Santin from the opponent team off guard.
The Spanish player remarked, “In every game I whistle to help my defence. It is a way of doing things that Kiko Narvaez had and I learned from him. Every player should watch the line and the referee. He just wants to try and blame me for it now.”
