Studies reveal that the junk food is unhealthy for not only human beings but also pets.  It can kill your pet that you love much.

Gerard Lippert, a Belgian acupuncturist for animals says, obesity and allergies are reducing the life expectancy of  Mittens and Lassies nourished worldwide on industrial food stuffs. He has reached at this point after completing a study on the diets of almost 600 dead dogs.

He claims that the died dogs are on processed foods and they died 3 years earlier than those dogs who are living on homemade foods.

The dog and cat foods are over-heated, which destroys vitamins and other basic nutritional elements, he said.

A Paris suburbs veterinary nutritionist and surgeon said, only 5% French people cook food for their four-lagged pals.

According to a 2008 study by Sofres polling institute, processed foods are not good for dogs and cats. They said, processed items have increased the chances of diarrhea, skin dermatitis, allergies, vomiting and cases of obesity in cats.

However, many pets owners tend to favor processed foods because they find difficulty in cooking nutritional meals.
