It is dangerous to walk on scissors but is all the more dangerous to swallow a toothbrush. This was done by a teenage kiwi girl by accident.

Indian origin gastroenterologist dinesh lal says –

15-year-old girl running up some steps with a 19-cm toothbrush in her mouth suddenly tripped and fell, pushing most of the brush into her esophagus.

The doctor who works in the Auckland hospital said that the girl will be admitted in the emergency department.

As per the case study in the New Zealand medical journal –

“Part of the toothbrush was still in the mouth but with apparently a very strong gag reflex she swallowed this down before it could be pulled out.

The girl felt that the toothbrush was churning around the stomach. It was detected by insertion of camera.
