Manu Ginobili Performs Well As Spurs Beat Wizards
Manu Ginobili performed well and contributed by scoring 21 points as San Antonio Spurs beat Washington Wizards with a score of 94-80 in a match played on Sunday. Tony Parker also had a good game for the winning side and scored 20 points along with 14 assists.
Parker said, “We talked about it this morning at shoot around – make sure we respect (Washington) and prepare for the Lakers. We played well tonight. We moved the ball and made some open shots.”
This was the eleventh game in row when Parker scored points in double digits. One of these games also included a game when he scored 37 points.
John Wall who came back for Wizards after being out for 5 games due to an injury could manage only 4 points and 4 assists along with 4 fouls during 19 minutes. Gary Neal added 9 points for the winners.
Spurs next play a keenly awaited game against Lakers on Tuesday. Wizards next face Houston on Monday.
