Matt Damon Surprised At Not Being Part Of Bourne Legacy

matt-damonMatt Damon is surprised at not being taken in the movie The Bourne Legacy. The star has acted in three films playing the role of Jason Bourne – a secret agent. There were rumors in the recent time which suggested that Damon would not work with group when the director of the movie Paul Greengrass left the project and the star indicating that he would not want to return until his friend comes back.

Michael Clayton director Tony Gilroy who had written the three Bourne film series is given the charge from Greengrass. A confirmation was given earlier that Damon will not feature in the new project.

Damon was surprised that nobody inform him about the plans. He remarked, “I found out they’re making another when somebody saw it on the Internet. Nobody bothered to call me.”

He also said, “I’m not in it, but even so, they’ll work Bourne into the title, I guess. Universal just wants to call everything the Bourne something. So I guess they are trying to make another franchise and as they say, ‘It isn’t over until it’s over’.”

The movie is scheduled for a 2012 release.
