Price of new Ferrari rival McLaren MP4-12C super car has been announced. According to McLaren Automotive it will cost around £168,500 and it goes on sale in spring 2011.

The car’s price includes VAT at 20 % rate coming into force on January 4 2011. It means the car would cost less than Ferrari’s 458 Italia.

However the company has not included Road Fund Licence or the £55 First Registration fee in its price but Ferrari is presently including VAT at 17.5 % that is likely to rise in 2011 January.

Ferrari’s spokesman confirmed that the 458 Italia is currently including price of first registration fee, road fund plus Carbon- Ceramic Brakes as standard and it retails at £169,546.
