Microsoft has not yet announced the look of Window phone 8. So it is said that they could be working on some new model for developing different applications on the Windows phone 8. Till now the developers have used XNA and silverlight for creating different applications on the Windows phone. Though, at present Microsoft is discouraging the use of Silverlight.
