Brazil forward Neymar is pleased with his performance in his team’s 4-2 win over Ecuador in a game held on Wednesday.

The 19 years old youngster scored two fabulous goals for his team. Fellow player Alexandre Pato also played superbly scoring two goals for the winning side. After the match Neymar was very delighted as his side qualified for the quarter-finals as the winners of Group B.

Neymar remarked, “I played today with a lot of calm, I played my own game. I managed to get on top of them and scored two goals. I have always done that for Santos, and today I was able to do it for the Selecao. It feels good.”

Right-back player Maicon shared the happiness of his teammate at the final result. He hopes to stay in first team of Brazil for remaining Copa America.

The Inter full-back player commented, “I hope I can stay in. The game was good and the team played very well, now I must wait and see what Mano [Menezes] decides for the next game. If he opts for me, I will be there to help the team any way I can.”

Brazil will now face Paraguay for quarter-finals in the La Plata to be held on Sunday.
