Ngorongoro Crater is one of the great wildlife reserves of the African continent

ngorongoro-craterAfrica is famous for African safari from Mt. Kilimanjaro to the agricultural town of Arusha, and then from Arusha to Lake Manyara, with its overall population of shimmering pink flamingoes. Here guide can give you all the requisite necessary information.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the great wildlife reserves of the African continent, and is one of the magnificent geological wonders of the world. Since 1979 it has been a World Heritage Site and also in international Biosphere Reserve. It consists of concentrated topography of dense forests, salt lakes, swamps, rivers and wide open savannah.

Ngorongoro is widely acknowledged for its great herds of zebra, rhino, wild elephant and wildebeest.  The attractive features are lion with an elongated shape and also pools filled with a staggering variety of deer, black rhinos, hippos, other ungulates, birds and plant life. The number of animals is at its peak during the rainy seasons. Africa is both the density and variety of flora and fauna at close quarters in a large but necessary circumscribed space.

There are various changes in landscape, tall trees covered in vines as in rainforests, flat arable field to the dense vegetation and plenty of other perceptible changes in atmosphere. In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area more than 550 bird species are recorded. You can watch Giraffe in plenty at Tarangire, both reticulated as well as Masai giraffe, which are differentiated by their body pattern. You can enjoy watching their tall necks furling and unfurling in high acacias as they placidly munched against the vast horizon.

The other fascinating encounter can be with the family of dik-diks, delicate-featured miniature antelope. The visitors who have visited this subcontinent the images were indelibly imprinted in their mind’s eyes.
