Olympic Football Stadium Does Not Depends Upon Club: London 2012
West Ham United Football has been informed that Olympic stadium does not rely on the club to successfully organize next year’s sports.
Andrew Altman, the chief executive of OPLC (Olympic Park Legacy Company) said that his governing body is keen to sign a deed with championship group.

However, he thinks that stadium can easily cover the maintenance budgets that time also when hammers will not come up for a rental contract.
He said “We welcome football but it’s not solely dependent on football,” “There are other combinations of other sports, concerts and activities that can also provide revenue.”
And added to his statement “What we are going out for provides maximum flexibility for the public sector to make sure we return value for money. We are just looking to see how we can populate the calendar with as many things as we can that can be compatible and work together.”
As per the new terms in an agreement, stadium will remain under public ownership and OPLC is looking for tenants. The track is expected to retain properly to host World Athletics Championships in 2017.
