Thiruvananthapuram, India: The cost of treasures is increasing with more findings in secret chambers. The cost of treasure found so far in the secret chambers of Padmanaba Swamy temple in kerala, India has exceeded 1 lac crore making it the richest Hindu temple not only in india but also in world.

The cellars are located 20 feet deep under temple. Oxygen supply and lighting was arranged to find the treasures. The temple was on ordinary security till now but now security situation will be different. As per local commissioner, 80 personnel belonging to special armed forces have been deployed for guarding of temple.

The supreme court of india ordered opening of cellars. The treasure found is captivating. It includes diamonds, precious jewels, big gold idols, huge gold ornaments  and emeralds. A 4 foot idol of lord Mahavishnu was found on Saturday is captivating and it is difficult to estimate its price.

The main entrance of temple was built in 1566 AD. It has 100ft tower consisting of seven stories. Now it ranks number 1 in wealth in india.  Number 2  slot goes to Balaji temple of tirupati and Shirdi Sai Baba temple is at number 3.
